Jon Beason LB, Carolina Panthers - Stepped in at middle linebacker for injured Dan Morgan and looked very good. Despite inexperience, Beason is proving that he can sniff out ball carriers in a hurry and make the tackle. 15 Games, 98 solo tackles, 32 assists, 1 interception.
Patrick Willis LB, San Francisco 49ers - Stud linebacker, solid tackler, all over the field, shown that he can anchor the Niners' defense. Leads the NFL with 162 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, and 3 sacks. Started in all 15 games this season.
