We actually traded him for Cespedes who got traded for Fulmer so it worked out fine for us.

I just never would have thought Rick Porcello would ever have a CY quality season after watching him pitch here for like 6 years.

Somebody is going to regret giving up a first for Hellickson.
he has to accept that lol
And hope hes traded at the deadline so next year he wont have it attached

Cant see anyone giving him a huge deal and giving up a pick for him

Wonder where Justin Turner will go if he doesn't stay with the Dodgers

Ill miss him. But hes earned his pay day. No hard feelings of course. He'll be 32 next season

I'd be surprised if somebody even bit on that, even in this SP market. It's gonna be like that year Stephen Drew didn't get signed until like June because no one wanted to lose a draft pick on him.

Maddon is the best manager in the NL. He should win it every year just like Trout should win MVP, but neither will happen this year.

I hope Hendricks or Lester win the CY. Bryant for MVP, Francona for manager, and Seager for ROY should all be locks

I mean I guess. Even if the Cubs lose Game 7 that doesn't change what he brings to the table. Bochy is the only NL manager that has a better resume, but he has had roughly 10 more years as a manager to help build that resume.

From an overall perspective, dating back to his time in TB  Maddon has been exceptional. He's always been great at managing a team throughout a season, and creates a great atmosphere for player development. Obviously there is some bias to this but he has 3 manager of the year awards for a reason, and this has been the best season he has been a part of.
