Which team had the better offense?

I would love to say that the GSOT wins this but I'm actually going to give the nod to Air Coryell. Don Coryell really helped open up the passing game in the 80's and is part of the reason we have four hour NFL games today. Correct me if I'm wrong but three players from Coryell are in the HoF in Fouts, Joiner and Winslow Sr. It also seems like every receiver that came to San Diego during the reign had a lot of success. John Jefferson had two or three great years and then left in free agency in pursuit of more money -- to only have a decimal career.

While the Rams had the likes of soon to be Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk, they did something Coryell didn't -- win a Super Bowl.

Don Coryell really changed the I-Form/Pro Set formation making it a pass-first. The only think lacking on the Chargers was an elite runningback. I've said it before, I think Faulk had the best three seasons as a runningback ever. The Chargers didn't have that weapon.

Thoughts?
