What would a team give for a 2B that can hit 35+ homers and score 100+ runs a year, along with giving plus defense?  The Twins have asked teams with interest in making this deal to give them their best offers this week to keep the situation from dragging out.

Fangraphs has his defense at below average.
Given his affordability, age, and still two years of control I think a top 50 and maybe two top 125s

Jose DeLeon would be a pretty good get
I wouldn't mind giving them some kind of sweetener like trayce thompson or kiké Hernandez, but no other real prospect
Last year was probably just a career year and an outlier going forward

Truth be told, no team is going to offer more than deleon
Im just waiting for this to go final already

He is still at lesst a 4 win player in my books and can easily hit at least 30 again.

Should get a top 50 for sure. They definitely need to sell high tho.

For that price I'd rather have Brett Lawrie at a lower cost if I am the Dodgers.  I need to keep what pitching I have.

Im definitely ok with them going utley/kiké at 2nd and re evaluating at the deadline

But the Dodgers have great depth at pitcher right now that seeing deleon go wouldn't be a back breaker

Depending on the price i would want the Mets to make a run. Never was sold on Neil Walker.

Think about it

Mets have walker. Whether you like him or not, hes serviceable

Cards have wong and gyorko

Giants have panik

Nats have Murph

Cubs have Javy and Zobrist

Yankees have starlin and already called out the twins for making up rumors

Twins people have also said it seems like the twins fo is leaking the cards and giants. Both are already set at 2b and oh how convenient, dodger nemesis' lol

Dodgers or bust. Twins are just trying to get the Dodgers to cave. But Friedman, Kasten, Zaidi and AA dont cave

My thing with Walker is the Mets have never indicated he's a long-term solution at 2B. If their intention is to replace him next winter I'd rather go after somebody like Dozier now.

Pointless though, Mets won't do it.

DeLeon is a fine young pitcher.  I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do.

Lawrie was hardly above replacement last year. People have been waiting for him to put it all together forever now.

Twins need young pitching, and lots of it. Dozier is a fan favorite there, would be a huge loss. Very underrated player though and it would be fun to see him thrive for a playoff team

Completely agree.  But the Dodgers aren't really in need and can take the run while costing much, much, much, etc, etc, ...less

Better all around player than Lawrie.  Better defensively, better offensively, better baserunner.  Not a whole lot more expensive right now.  The team that trades for Dozier will get their money's worth.

That's the thing, Dozier is quite a bit more expensive than other options.  If I am the Dodgers, I pass hard if they want De Leon.
