You're starting your franchise with one of these two QB's. Which one do you take, and why do you take them?

Thoughts?

Tom Brady, i mean if your talking about quarterbacks the first thing that pops into your head is tom brady, i mean this guy is just flat-out the best. Look at the numbers, he is easily one of THE best QB's of all time, maybe not THE best, but he's getting pretty close.

Dont get me wrong, Aaron Rodgers is an elite QB in the game today, but Tom Brady is one of the Elite QB's of all time.

GMF's pullin a shocker here.

Going with Rodgers. Don't get me wrong, Brady is one of the best QBs of all time but Rodgers is just onto such a fast start, I think he can be one of the best of all time as well. Think about it. First 3 full seasons his QB Ratings are: 93.8, 103.2, 101.2. Brady's first 3 seasons are: 86.5, 85.7, 85.9.

Neither one of them throws a lot of interceptions, and both have had great WRs around them (Moss, Jennings, Driver) and pass-heavy offenses. It's not an easy choice but I honestly believe in the long run Rodgers has the better career.

But those are stats I take much more seriously, and I know a lot of people don't so I'm probably going to be on the short side in this debate, lol.

For a short term thing, you take Tom

But if this is for a 10 year period, you easily take Rodgers

Even for short term, still Rodgers.

Isn't really a drop off, and Rodgers has bigger upside & is young.. & Hasn't had any knee Surgeries.

Yeah, now if the question were "Which would you Take in their Prime", it's a much different argument.

Rodgers, he's young and still has a lot of time left.

Plus I hate Brady.

While Rodgers is a great QB I gotta go with Brady... Look at the receivers who go in there and how much better he makes them. He is one of the greatest of all time. While the stats may not show it if you watch the games you can see Rodgers struggles in the 4th Quarter in close games. Plus Rodgers has some of the best receivers in the League which help him out a lot.

I'm easily taking Rodgers. You're getting seven more seasons out of him, assuming they play the same amount of years.

Aaron Rodgers is just as good a passer as Tom Brady, and he's a lot more mobile. I'd take Rodgers. Not to mention he's 7 years younger.
