We will be starting our 5th annual SI player rankings.  Last year we only go to the SF position, but I'm quite determined to get the rankings completely finished this year.

Don't be afraid to share your opinion, whether it's a popular one or not.  We will once again be going 10 spots deep at all 5 positions.

Please remember these two things, please vote on the polls and vote for the best player, don't be a homer.  Most of the polls will be open 24 hours, but if the first place vote getter gets 5 or more votes than the second vote getter than I will close the thread if I'm around. Nola and I will be guys running the polls in order to try to get this done this time around.

Remember, this is based on who is currently the best player, not who has the potential to be the best.  Who would you take today?

Millsap, Dirk, and Serge for me in these last 3 spots. Not sure who I want to go with first though, I think I'm leaning Dirk.

I'd rather have Serge than Draymond.

Those three are good picks. Z-Bo and Draymond probably at least deserve consideration as well

ZBO and Dray would be the two to follow after those three for me.

Probably Dirk, Serge, Millsap, ZBo, Draymond in that order.
Still not sure about Serge vs. Millsap though. Might flip flop

Nah. He's just a great defender in a good system for himself offensively.
IDK who said it, but he is worth the max contract to the Warriors, but had he signed somewhere else I don't think he would've lived up to that contract whatsoever. He's a good player for sure, but I wouldn't take him this high, this early in his career at least. That could certainly change though.

I'm honestly surprised people haven't overreacted already. Probably because PF is so deep

Yeah it really is incredibly deep. The fact a few of the guys are well into their 30's too is pretty cool.

Would you guys hate me if I switched from Dirk to Serge and tied this up?

I don't know who I like, but hopefully it's not Ibaka or Dirk.

Serge is better on a game-by-game basis than Dirk is at this point. Pretty easy decision. Somebody else who's holding on to the past, change your vote and end this.
