We're going to conduct a top 15 list of the great NHL players of all time. Like the other 'top' lists we are current producing, there will a list of top to vote from and a list of players that will move up to replace the player who gets voted into a numbered position. Once you vote, tell us who and why you picked them and then tell us who from the bottom list should move up.

This first vote is pretty easy.

Nominees
Wayne Gretzky (Edmonton Oilers)
Bobby Orr (Boston Bruins)
Gordie Howe (Detroit Red Wings)
Mario Lemieux (Pittsburgh Penguins)
Maurice Richard (Montreal Canadiens)
Ray Bourque (Boston Bruins)
Phil Esposito (Boston Bruins)
Steve Yzerman (Detroit Red Wings)
Paul Coffey (Edmonton Oilers)
Mike Bossy (New York Islanders)

Honorable Mentions
Mark Messier (New York Rangers)
Jean Beliveau (Montreal Canadiens)
Guy Lafleur (Montreal Canadiens)
Marcel Dionne (Los Angeles Kings)
Mike Modano (Dallas Stars)
Joe Sakic (Colorado Avalache)
Sidney Crosby (Pittsburgh Penguins)
Ron Francis (Pittsburgh Penguins)
Bobby Hull (Chicago Blackhawks)
Staqn Mikita (Chicago Blackhawks)
Patrick Roy (Colorado Avalache)
Denis Savard (Montreal Canadiens)
Brett Hull (St. Louis Blues)
Luc Robitaille (Detroit Red Wings)
Larry Robinson (Montreal Canadiens)
Alexander Ovechkin (Washington Capitals)

Do we even have enough NHL fans here to make this legitimate?

Pretty easy poll here. Gretzky, and it's not really close.
