According to Pat McManamon of ESPN, in the six practices open to the media, Griffin had as many bad throws as good ones, passes that were tipped, intercepted or should have been intercepted.
Griffin also showed poor footwork and seemed eager to throw safe, checkdown passes, and he didn’t make a lot of big plays or do the things that would show off the great athleticism he displayed as a rookie.

"It's only practice."

"It's early."

"He's still learning the offense."

Mkay.... How many years in the league now? Still not seeing any signs that would indicate the guy is/was/will ever be more than a flash in the pan. McCown keeps the job out of camp and unless he's injured, RG3 is parked on the sideline as usual.

I will bet you $100 that McCown is not the starter week 1

The RG3 hate baffles me.  It's borderline pathetic how many people are actively rooting for this guy to fail.

He hasn't been recently, but he's also been on the bench for over a year.  People expecting him to step in during the first week of OTA's in a brand new offense, on a brand new team, without any rust are being incredibly unreasonable.

i do completely agree with that. i actually hope he does well too. i still think potential may be there. ive just never been a fan and believer in him.

He's damaged goods, so it's hard to imagine him turning his career around at this point, but he's a great teammate, and a high character guy that deserves far more support than he's gotten.  All of the negativity that has surrounded him since his second year in the league has been manufactured almost entirely by the media.

hes mentally soft. thats been my huge knock against him. maybe hes just soft-spoken, idk. the media did hurt him more than anything though.
