The Nuggets and Nene have reached agreement on a five-year contract that will pay him up to $67 million.

The Nets were also pursuing Nene but may be focusing their attention on trying to swing a trade for Dwight Howard who has requested that the Magic deal him to New Jersey.

Glad he stayed in Denver tbh.

another free agency of new jersey busting out because they want to land a superstar. nene was needed in denver though and i doubt he ever wanted to leave.

I don't think he wanted to go to NJ that was trying so hard to get him, yet trying so hard to get Dwight at the same time...

Not sure many other teams could offer the same amount.

i dont think he did. cp3 and dwight have all the hype. new jersey made it clear that if they go after nene all they want to do is flip him to orlando. fuck that. id stay where the fans want you.

The Nets were/are in cahoots with Fegan, the agent of Howard and Nene.

Nene was the best free agent out there this year, yet it took this long for someone to sign him?
