The trio of Kyle Lowry, Randy Foye, and Allan Ray first got me into college basketball years ago. Kyle was only starting to carve out his niche as an aggressive, fearless point guard who could finish among the trees. He couldn't shoot yet, but he was already relentless. Randy was a bit of a two-way player who could score, and I remember him having great touch off the class in his last tournament with the Wildcats. I think he had perhaps the highest ceiling of the three, but I do wonder if he ended up with the wrong teams early in his career. Dude still turned into a nice player, though. Allan Ray was a pure scorer who played for the Celtics for awhile but has never sniffed the league again. It's crazy to see how different their three trajectories would turn out to be.
I had similar thoughts about the Deron/Head/Brown trio from Illinois. That team was fun to watch.

If only they could have beaten UNC...

Grayson Allen returns...

Something wrong if Duke aren't rolling out as national champions next year.
