Rice and Fitz.

Fitz can catch any ball thrown anywhere near him...he's crazy.

I really don't understand the logic of voting Fitzgerald over Calvin.

Everyone here loves stats in this discussion, Calvin is on pace for better stats 2 years in a row then both AJ AND Fitz actually.

So I don't really see how you can view it that way.

then what argument can you use ot put Calvin over Wes Welker?

Welker 16 gm proj: 124 rec, 1671 yd, 11 TD (168 TAR)
Calvin 16 gm proj: 92 rec, 1456, 16 TD (156 TAR)

Welker, while targeted 12 more times, catches 32 more balls, for 215 more yards. And while Calvin would have more TD rec's, Gronkowski leads the league in TD recs, which takes away Wes's total.

Lol cause no one really even considers a glorified slot receiver on the same level as Fitz, Calvin, and Andre.
People use stats when talking about the big 3.

Just stop.

So stats matter when they help promote your guy, but not when they go against your dude? nice going....

Like legit, that might have been the most ignorant post i've seen from you, ever. People can ONLY use stats when comparing Fitzgerald, Calvin, and Andre, and they cant include anyone else? Thats fucking retarded.

Stats are completely misleading. Is Kyle Arrington better than Darrelle Revis? Hell no. But stats indicate otherwise.

Am I saying I think Wes Welker is a better WR than Calvin? No. Calvin is behind Andre and Fitzy though.

Calvin has cooled down a lot. His YPG is below 100 in the past games, and he's had 4 TDs since Week 5.

If Fitzgerald had a mediocre QB this wouldnt even be close. During the playoffs of that run by the Cardinals, he came up big and made huge plays. It was one of the most dominating performances by a WR ever in the NFL.

Calvin has Stafford and Johnson has Shaub. Two very good QB's. Fitz the past 2 years he has had Kolb, Anderson, and Skelton.

We should also question Johnson's injury susceptibility:

2005 injured out 3 games
2007 injured out 7 games
2010 missed 3 games
2011 injured out 7 games

I would rather take the consistency of Fitz playing over Andre. Also due to the fact that as of right now Fitz has produced tremendously over Andre in the playoffs. I know thats not Andre's fault, but this will be his year to prove he is the best.

You completely mis-interpreted what I meant apparently.
We all know Welker isn't on the same level as the big 3. And since the big 3 is considered to be so close, stats is a key way to compare them. Far from an ignorant statement lmao.

Anyways, why did this just die? I enjoyed voting in these...
