*Philly on a 16 game win streak, catapults to 3rd in the conference when they were projected to miss the playoffs or fight to get in*

"I don't really get this Philly love"

This is mostly a Paulie/Mexi post, but I just thought of it.

Spurs receive:
G Markelle Fultz
G Jerryd Bayless
F Dario Saric
2018 LAL 1st (likely #10 overall)

Sixers receive:
F Kawhi Leonard

I just don't see Danny being willing to part with Jaylen or Jayson, which would be necessary to get Kawhi. Saric will be entering his final year and might not have a long term future in Philly knowing he'd realistically be a career 6th man. Spurs getting last year's #1 overall and another lottery pick this year might be as good as they'll get for someone in Kawhi that they need to trade (he's too good for a proper rebuild anyways). And I'd be shocked if Kawhi didn't want to re-sign in Philly with Simmons and Embiid, because they'd be the favorites in the East at that point. Especially since they'd still be able to hold on to Redick's cap hold, and re-sign him. Embiid/RoCo/Kawhi/Redick/Simmons is a nasty lineup

A true win-win imo. I would see both teams accepting that offer

Boston needs to get Kawhi if that bastard demands a trade

I want kyrie and kawhi duo

Him on the sixers would also be dope tho but would he re sign? Idk

Just taking bias out of it, I don't know why he would re-sign in Boston but not Philly. Plus he was with Brett Brown in San An too

Idk man if it was me id re sign with boston over philly 10/10 times

Pop 2.0 in brad stevens too

Kyrie

Arguably the best franchise in history of the game

But id also consider philly just because historically they didnt have as much success as boston and id want to bring that success to philly

Idk both scenarios are fine with me but kyrie needs a sidekick

Lakers will go after everybody available. That's not the point.

I feel like I've had to say this like 3 years in a row now, but players with near expiring contracts essentially have NTCs due to their ability to opt out. Between Jimmy Butler, Paul George, Kyrie Irving... I can guarantee you all said "you can trade me to MIN/OKC/BOS, but if you trade me to ______ I'll opt out and hit FA". Nobody's trading major pieces for a superstar rental

Its up to Kawhi to choose the Lakers, not the other way around. And right now, I don't see people going to LA unless they get a major overhaul in talent, more than just Ingram and Lonzo Ball.

I'm just trying to remain as objective as possible. I thought KD should have signed with us, but he didnt...

Philly is a perimeter scoring threat away from actually being scary. Embiid is a beast on both ends, and Simmons is a transcendent player. Kawhi would fit that team's system marvelously, and would put them ahead of most teams because that defense would be insane.

Obviously Boston would be great with Kawhi too, but is it worth losing the duo of Tatum and Brown? Like last year's Celtics were the Bridge Celtics... is this team currently just Bridge Prime? Al/Kawhi/Hayward/Kyrie has probably a 4 year window, where as Kyrie/Tatum/Brown/'19 Kings 1st could have a much larger window for title success.

Both would be great options for Kawhi tho

Raptors calling this Game 1 a Game 7.... they're already in their own heads.

Didn't they boycott to get a later game, and blamed the 12pm slot for their problems?

I don't know what it is, but the Wizards have always just been so boring to me.  I can't stand watching this team.
