Looks like I was wrong (shocker) about not having to trade up to #2 for Mariota, although I imagine the Titans want more given that the trade wasn't actually accepted. Not sure if the Browns are not willing to give up more because they think he'll fall further than that, or if they just don't want to period.

There were reports about Farmer being enamored with Mariota last year, so this isn't too surprising in hindsight.

Fuck this though, Cardale should have just declared. I want 12 gauge damn it.

Rumour is that it's a deal if the Browns add in their 2nd rounder.

Get it done Webster.

That seems like not enough to move from 12 to 2. I feel like it would take another first rounder, but I wouldn't do that if I was the Browns

And honestly, I don't know if I'd offer the 2nd either.

Does anyone really believe Shane Ray will fall that far?

As a Redskins fan who is experienced in this sort of thing, I'd say do it. I can't see how anything could go wrong.

It really depends on what each team's doctors think about his foot.  Ray himself says he doesn't need surgery, but of course he's going to say that.

Evidently he was arrested, of which I was unaware prior to that post.

Yeah, he may slip.

I think he will fall somewhat, but I also think a lot of teams may be saying these things about him trying to get them to fall to them.

What about La'el Collins? I'm shocked he hasn't been brought up. Several teams have taken him off their draft boards completely. How far could he fall?

From what I understand, Collins is only being questioned because he knew the girl that was killed, and the child with whom she was pregnant may have been his.  He's not a suspect.

Report: Browns believe they can get Bradford

According to SI.com's Peter King, the Browns believe they have a "good chance" to acquire Sam Bradford from the Eagles.

The Browns have wanted Bradford all offseason, initially offering the Rams the No. 19 overall pick for him. St. Louis balked because it wanted a quarterback, and got one when Philadelphia sent them Nick Foles in the Bradford trade. Appearing on Mike & Mike Thursday morning, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported "people around the league" still believe the Eagles are floating Bradford as a "trade chip," most likely in talks with quarterback-needy Cleveland.

His agent is looking to move him to the supplemental draft

I never mentioned this, but I live in BR now and there is a weird vibe around the Collins situation. I'm not saying he did it, but a lot of people think there is more to the story. That's why teams are taking him off draft boards and him not going in the first or second, etc.
