Can someone tell me why Chapman is being picked??

This is going for the year and he was ranked 26th in WAR last year among RP

It should be Britton. Was hurt most of the year. Healthy hes better than everybody on this list.

Maybe a down year, but still throws 103 mph and had a good campaign in 2016.

He had a .230 BABIP that year and his FIP was near 2. 7th in RP in WAR behind Chapman

In other words, he is dependent upon a great defense for his numbers.  Yes, he induces weak contact, but with a poor defense his numbers would be quite pedestrian.

Hes been pretty consistently great for four years now.
