How Much Should we Trust Mike Mayock?

I love Mayock because he called Chandler Jones being a beast and he is damn right


Judging QBs is the hardest thing to do. He's still my #1 guy

Yeah no I love Mayock. But I'm not gonna fret if I disagree with him about QB's, because he doesn't have the best track record, even though he is arguably the best.
 
He's been wrong about lot's of WR's and RB's too though just looking through his rankings from previous years.

Mayock is definitely my favorite draft analyst, I also really like him because he does a lot of the Vikings preseason games for the local station and he always talks a lot about the drafted and undrafted rookies on both sides.
 
I've seen comparisons before about just how "accurate" most draft experts are in their mock drafts and they are almost always 95% wrong, but it really just goes to show how hard it is to predict things like development of players.
 
I'll take Mayock over Kiper and McShay any day though.

Mocks are different than player evaluation though.

I respect the hell out of his DB analysis.
