An argument can be made that Curry hasn't done enough to be top 5 all time right now, but he is definitely on pace to easily be that, and at his peak he's better than any PG ever, other than maybe Magic.
I agree. But if he were to retire after this season, I don't think he'd go down as a top 5 point guard

people are afraid to rank current players with retired players. especially if theyre far off from retirement.

nash even said steph is top five. other current players have too

You really think so?

We got top 4 locked with stockton isiah magic big o

The 5th spot left to argue for guys like j kidd nash frazier...even bob cousy if u wanna go back that far...maybe even cp3 for some. Imo j kidd is 5th right now, but you dont think if curry won fmvp this year he wouldnt pass him?

Steph Curry career numbers:
11089 points, 3393 assists, 886 steals, 3x All Star, 2x MVP, 2x All-NBA 1st team, 1x All-NBA 2nd team

Chris Paul career numbers:
14506 points, 7688 assists, 1793 steals, 9x All Star, 4x All-NBA 1st team, 3x All-NBA 2nd team, 6x All-Defensive 1st team, 2x All-Defensive 2nd team

Why would Steph be above CP3 if Steph retired next week?

Yea man good one, cuz mario chalmers averaging 30/5/5 on 50 40 90, winning unanimous mvps, most threes ever by like 130 threes, and so on.... cp3 is a dog, i love him, but him never making it to WCF with such a team, he cant be above true winners. Its all about winning rings man, and if you also have the stats to back it up, you gotta be higher than someone who only has stats

But really, back to back titles
Back to back MVPs
One of the greatest seasons ever
Completely redefined the 3 point shot
Near consensus overall best player

Its not crazy to have him top 5 ever. no one has done what he has and is still doing.
Back to back titles lmaoo
