Actually, Suh had 9 sacks.

His first sack ever wasn't even a sack, Cutler just ran out of bounds. So IDC. 9 sacks.
I am just saying, Suh even having 9-10 sacks makes it very Un-common.

No its not
Haynesworth
Tommie Harris
Tommy Kelly
John Randle
Warren Sapp
Corey Redding
Rocky Bernard
Kevin Williams
Bryant Young
Israel Idonije
Suh
Rod Coleman

All have had 8 sacks or more at least once in their career. I could continue if you'd like.

Yet last year, only 1 DT had 10.

Everybody else was 7 and under.

lol, everyone on that list, minus john randle, is from the last 5 years. "Todays game" meaning anything beyond the 70's, or the merger.

Idonije had 8 and Smith had 8.5.

Both are DE's.

Justin Smith is a DE in the 3-4.

I think i've proven my fucking point, at least.

Suh getting 10 sacks doesn't mean he's revolutionizing the DT position. 3 technique DT's are one gap defenders, and always have been.

10 sacks is not normal though...

It's not "uncommon" either... I can list a few more DT's who have had 10 sacks if you'd like.

I'm sure you'd just throw the facts out the window again though.

Another somewhat funny stat. Not that it is a bad thing, but Suh didn't even have the most sacks for a rookie defensive tackle.

I actually LIKE Suh, he's a great player, but he isn't doing shit that hasn't been done several times before.

C'mon Jake.

It doesn't happen every year though.

He's overrated just like every other Detroit Lion that gets hyped up on this forum.

Typical Lions fans.
