And Kipnis, Kinsler, and Murphy have higher WARs than Carpenter.
 
I still think Kipnis should be #3, but its not absurd to say Pedroia belongs in the top 5.

This is honestly my mistake even including Carpenter. 400 innings at 3b and 200 at 2nd. Fangraphs just has him listed when filter WAR by 2nd.

Yeah that's what I thought. I'll switch my vote. But Carpenter has played less games than those other guys you mentioned.
 
He's been fucking phenomenal at the plate this year.
