Maurice Clarett is back in football. The former Ohio State star has made the long trip from college campus to prison to the football field.

According to Pro Football Talk, the Omaha Nighthawks of the UFL have signed the running back.

Clarett last played in the 2003 Fiesta Bowl. He rushed for 1,237 yards in his only season for the Buckeyes. He was picked in the third round of the 2005 draft by Denver but was cut. After that he was arrested and spent three years in prison on weapons charges.
