What if he just has a really sweet elbow and James Andrews just wants to admire it?

Publicly stating that Price is going to visit Dr. Andrews is not a good sign.  Price has never had any elbow problems in the past and has always had arm stiffness early in the spring.  This may be a bit different, however.
We can hope for the best.

Ideally we can sit him until August to get ready for the Playoffs

Porcello won the Cy last year, and we got Chris Sale. If we can get Price ready for the #3 spot in the playoff rotation, we'll be straight af pitching. But if not, E-Rod should do fine

You just gonna sit someone who needs Tommy John surgery in hopes that some magic beans cure him by August?

.... you elect him to get the surgery, and hope he's ready by August...

There is zero chance he'd be ready to go in August if he had Tommy John surgery this month.

And even if he did heal in 6 months (highly unlikely), that would take you to September, and he'd still have to build up his stamina, which could take a month on it's own.

If he doesn't get surgery it will be a miracle against all odds.

Would be a huge loss for Boston. Something is definitely not right, if his elbow was bad enough to need to see James Andrews it's not gonna magically heal in a week
