We will be starting our 4th annual SI player rankings.  Last year the player rankings generated 388 responses, that's less than 8 responses per thread.  I'm hoping this year we get above 500.  Don't be afraid to share your opinion, whether it's a popular one or not.  We will once again be going 10 spots deep at all 5 positions.

Please remember these two things, please vote on the polls and vote for the best player, don't be a homer.  Most of the polls will be open 24 hours, but if the first place vote getter gets 5 or more votes than the second vote getter than I will close the thread if I'm around.

Remember, this is based on who is currently the best player, not who has the potential to be the best.  Who would you take today?

I have to do some research before I choose.

Honestly if you look just at Wade's regular season, he should be the choice here.

But he missed like a third of the games and played no defense whatsoever in the finals that I can't give it to him. Also a lot of his good stats are thanks to LeBron.

It's a toss up between Dragic, Manu, JJ and Lance for me. From a pure skill standpoint I almost wanna go Dragon

What on earth would propel Monta Ellis from #10 to #2?

He averaged 19.0/5.7 least year, which is very damn good. I didn't realize Goran's stats, so I'm switching to him, but Monta is my vote next.

Joe Johnson. Though for me it was kind of a toss up between him and Goran.

Edit: changed to goran. Didn't realize he shot 50%

Joe Johnson was an absolute mess defensively this year, so it's hard to justify him at #2. Goran wasn't great either, slightly below average off the ball and barely average on the ball. But it's still better than what Joe Johnson did.

It came down to Goran and Lance Stephenson for me. I went Lance because he's more well rounded. Good offensive player and great defensive player.

Honestly think actual time on the court Manu had the biggest impact, but it's hard to vote for someone who played as little as he did.
