I like it. Talented, young player. Nice signing for MadridStuttgart says Germany midfielder Sami Khedira is set to join Real Madrid.
Stuttgart said Friday the two clubs have agreed on the transfer and Khedira will sign a contract with Madrid once he has undergone a medical.
Stuttgart managing director Fredi Bobic says the club was reluctant to let the 23-year-old go, “but we can understand Sami's wish to further his career at Real.”
“We wish him great success with his new challenge in Madrid.”
Speculation that Khedira might move to Madrid has swirled since he was praised for strong performances at the World Cup.
Khedira had a year left on his contract at Stuttgart.
