Just in case anyone is curious why we're continung a league rather than starting a new one --

I've wanted to start a league at SI for a while, but I knew we wouldn't be able to generate support all on our own. We'd have to bring in some guys from another site. A few weeks ago BrewCrew aka Moneyman came to me and suggested it, and yesterday he once again brought the idea to my table.

To me, it seems like an easy choice. We bring in some new guys who want to continue the league wherever it ends up. I hope it works out, and it succeeds, and it goes a few more seasons. Maybe it doesn't, but I think it has better odds at succeeding than a new league with 15 new GMs rather than 25+ GMs. If it doesn't work out, maybe some of these CSS guys want to commit to a new league here, maybe not. But it can't hurt to try.

That's my stance on it. Starting a new league, from scratch, may not even get to the Trade Deadline of season 1 -- but a current league at least has room to bounce back and members from CSS may say "hey, it didn't work, but we like this site and I'd like to stick around and try a new league".

Also, if you are on a Mac, give these a shot:

Should be able to run Baseball Mogul and other windows applications on one of those, wine Bottler is the one I most frequently hear about. I;m on Linux and I use Wine to run the game -- works real well.

Can someone tell me how to hide specifically just the MLB sim forum and remove posts from new content? Nothing against it, I just don't have time to join, and it's cluttering the new content

under New Content you can click "Filter by Forum" under "Other". That will let you select what forums to view. So you'll have to click on all of them that you want to appear -- wish there was an easier way.

Don't be mad.  I had them for one offseason & hopefully they can compete for a WC spot from being the 2nd worst team in the league last year.
