Mediocre I assume. Probably like a 5-7 seed. Get bounced in the first or second round. Team just doesn't seem as good as it has been in the past. But then again, I'm no hockey expert lol.

Holland is a terrific GM, but he really didn't do much to put us in a good position this season. We had some glaring needs that had to be filled, and he patched them with ducktape really. Couple solid guys, but certainly not game changers, such as Tootoo and Colaiacovo.

Hopefully I'm wrong though, but I just feel like it shall be a luckluster season.

I thought the same thing, they were bounced early last year and really haven't done crap in my opinion so why would this year be any different? If anything, they've lost guys. Losing Lidstrom alone hurts. I'm really not expecting much but they always find a way to win so we'll see. Maybe the shorter season will benefit them, they need to keep the playoff streak going!

They definitely need to have a big year from guys like Franzen, Flippula, and Cleary.
But yeah, I don't think the streak is in danger, I think we will be a playoff team, just not a scary one.

Which is unheard of for the Red Wings, they are always a contender. Maybe they'll find a way to surprise us, guys really need to step up. Hard to believe they will be a better team than they were a year ago. Here you go:

Wouldn't mind seeing that if the Sabres don't make it (LOL). Callahan is a Rochester native ... close enough to Buffalo for me.

A trade for Luongo
I don't know what I would think about having Luongo over here though lol. One part of me would be excited but then again that contract and whether he can perform under the pressure in Toronto.

Of course this is not bias at all, but I really like the Blackhawks chances this year.
