Today we will be interviewing GMOTY Brack who is coming off a championship season with the Minnesota Timberwolves. We'll dive in and ask how he managed to win the championship and whats next for this team.

Q: Walk us through last season, it was pretty clear after getting to the finals the year before this team was hungry to get back. What had to happen to make it back to the finals?
Well we knew Kevin was gonna take a big step. And we wanted to get some vet pieces in. Going in to the season we knew we didn't have a championship team. But we did however have some pretty good pieces. So we made a move for one of the league leaders in rebounds in Emeka Okafor. He fit right in, unselfish he was a 18 ppg scorer on the Suns. He was a non-option on this team. Also another key was getting an assist leader in Calderon even though we had one in Jameer. Calderon just kinda landed here. So we rolled with it. Jammer was hugeeee. He moved to SG, came off the bench, he started doing anything we asked of him. Him and Okafor kinda just set the tone for the locker room. These guys were hungry. We kept bringing in other guys no one wanted. We knew the ring was ours. I would say passion over stats is what made it happen.

Q: The team did go over the hard cap on your way to win a title, what are your thoughts on that?
Well I really didn't know. But as the GM and owner we are okay with spending and sacrificing money to get a ring for our city. They support us and are there every night feeding our guys with cheers and love. We had to get them that banner. They the real MVP.

Q: Were there any teams that you thought might have your number last season on your run to the title?
Raptors, because CP3 can pick Calderon apart with his scoring and defense. Calderon is an offensive and passive PG. They could have doubled him and shut the whole offense down. Thats why Jammer was huge, he could make plays when Calderon was covered.

Q: Why trade Kevin Durant after winning the championship? Also, what made you trade him for the group of guys you did?
Kevin Durant never wanted to be here. He is a down home southern boy. So he wanted to be in Indiana with his hero Larry Bird. We tried to work something out. But nothing really could be done. Cheddar the GM of Pacers offered us a nice package. So he left. We are in good terms and we want all of our players to be happy and be a family. He is always welcome back. And we thank him for helping us get to the finals 2 times and 1 ring. We love you cupcake. As for the group of guys we got. We love Kyrie, he wants to lead this team to a ring. Biyombo and Monroe both bring different things to the table and are young and raw. Horford and Chandler are gonna have big roles this year and are gonna have to take the next step.

Q: What is the vision for this team this upcoming season? Can we expect 3 straight trips to the finals?
This year we have a lot of young hungry guys. But hungry for recognition. They are young and some haven't had a chance at playing time. Chandler and Horford came in to help the youth develop in the right way. As both are highly skilled and have great character and do a lot in their hometown communities. We think we we will go as far as FA takes us. We have a few offers out. Hoping to land some good pieces to help our youth. Playoffs are the goal.

Q: Are there any teams this year that you will have to watch out for as you look to stay competitive in the western conference playoff race?
Always gotta watch Westbrook and the Mavs, Raptors look good. Magic are sneaky good. Even though they need some bigs. Clippers look good. The Jazz made some good moves. Loving that team. Faried and Bradley should have a good TC and really fill them out with Pau and Deron.

Thanks Brack for being willing to answering some questions about the state of the reigning NBA champions the Minnesota Timberwolves.
