On the heels of a 372-yard passing performance in Week 10 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Johnny Manziel will reportedly be the Cleveland Browns' starting quarterback for the remainder of the 2015 season.

Jay Glazer of Fox Sports first reported the news Tuesday, and the Browns confirmed the report by announcing they will "move forward" with Manziel as their starter.

"I was a little caught off guard, watching film this morning, coach came and grabbed me," said Manziel on how he heard the news, per Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com

Manziel started in place of injured veteran Josh McCown (ribs) the past two games. The Browns lost to the Cincinnati Bengals and Steelers by a combined score of 61-19 over the last two weeks, but Manziel showed signs of life.

"I've learned a lot this year," Manziel said, per Cabot. "Pett said big step last week. Want to continue to show progress."

"I let (Pett) know I'm not going to do anything to be an embarrassment to the organization," Manziel added, per Cabot.

Head coach Mike Pettine liked what he saw out of Manziel against Pittsburgh as he completed 33 of 45 passes for one touchdown and one interception, resulting in a 95.8 quarterback rating.

He will also not face discipline for his alleged domestic dispute earlier this year.

The NFL said Tuesday it will not discipline Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel for an October driving incident involving his girlfriend.

"Consistent with the procedures of the league's Personal Conduct Policy, we have examined the available evidence regarding the recent incident involving Johnny Manziel," the league said in a statement. "Our investigation included a thorough review of information from law enforcement and our own interviews with multiple individuals, including the two involved in the incident. Based on the information gathered, we have concluded that there is an insufficient basis on which to take disciplinary action. In all cases of this nature, our concern under the Personal Conduct Policy goes well beyond the issue of discipline, and we have made comprehensive professional resources available on a confidential basis."

No charges were filed against Manziel following the Oct. 12 incident, when witnesses reported him driving dangerously on an interstate highway. His girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, said he had beaten her in the car and pushed her head against the glass, but she later declined to press charges.

After questioning both Manziel and Crowley, police in Avon, Ohio, allowed the couple to leave for Manziel's home together. Police smelled alcohol on Manziel's breath, but did not give him a field sobriety test because he showed no signs of inebriation, police said.

Do you think it's the best move for the Browns moving forward? Do you think this should have come earlier this season? or Later? What are your expectations for Manziel and the Brown's for the remainder of the season? Do you think he'll be the Brown's starter come next season as well?

Do you believe he should be facing disciple for the domestic dispute?
