Dez Bryant appears to be facing an absence more lengthy than initially expected after recently undergoing surgery to repair a broken bone in his foot.

The Dallas Cowboys' star wide receiver required a bone graft as part of the procedure and is now expected to miss 10-12 weeks as a result, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

This has already been debunked. The Bone Graft may actually allow him to return sooner rather than later--his target date is right after the bye week. October 25th, I believe. It's not realistic but something around that time frame may be.

Now, the initially reported timeframe is entirely possible if it doesn't heal quickly. He can't take risks with it.

Donte Stallworth said on Twitter he had the exact same injury, and that the recovery time was 5-8 weeks. Considering his experience, and the fact that Dez said this was bullshit, I'll disagree with this report.

So what is it 5-8 weeks then?

No Murray, an old Witten, no Dez for half the year, and no Romo for idk how long.

Watch the Cowboys make a run now with Weeden lol
