WOW

Al Harrington is set to become a member of the New York Knicks, the New York Post is reporting.

The deal was set to go through late on Thursday night, but the conference call with the league is now scheduled for Friday morning.

The deal is presumed to be for Malik Rose.

The move will reunite Walsh with Harrington, whom the Pacers president drafted out of high school (No. 25) in 1998.

The Knicks are a win now organization, and although they have failed at putting a team together in the past this trade is amazing for them.

Very nice trade for the Knicks, did Malik Rose even play in New York?

I don't think so but he probably has a big contract that is expiring soon, and the warriors are probably planning on getting one of the big Free agents in a couple years

Yeah, that's most likely why they made this trade.

WOW

If its just for Rose I will be EXTREMELY happy, but I just saw on realgm that its for Crawford, which is more realistic.

Im hoping its Rose, but if it is Crawford, then we officially have got under the CAP for 2010

Either way, good move.

Is this the same Al Harrington that happens to own Al Harrington's Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing tube man emporium and warehouse in Whikipaug?

GSW needs to add more Guards? WTF... LOL.
They need a big body like Rose IMO.

Nah I wasnt saying they need to add another guard, it makes sense talent for talent wise.

I would much rather keep Crawford and trade Rose, but I dont think it would allow us to offer a max salary...

Harrington and Rose both expire now... Wouldn't make sense for GSW.

Jamal/Monta/Jax/Maggette

i understand the trade from a money perspective from the Knicks, but did they really need Harrington?

I smell something fishy....

maybe this is what i am smelling....
After dealing Jamal Crawford to the Warriors for Al Harrington, the Knicks are working on a trade that would land Zach Randolph in Dallas.

Jerry Stackhouse has expressed a desire to be traded but his contract is half the value of Randolph's deal.

Unless another player is thrown into the trade, there is a possibility that the Knicks will recruit a third team to make the Randolph deal work.

The Clippers, however, are still hoping to acquire Randolph for Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley.

if the knicks got Thomas and Cat Mobley, they would be WAY under the cap in '10

props to NY for trying to get in the Bron sweepstakes!

Jalen Rose just said he has some "reliable sources" telling him that Bosh and James are going to the knicks in '10
