It'll be Quebec City guaranteed if a team comes back up for sale. Las Vegas and Kansas City is just meh for an NHL team. Vegas will never have a sports team, though.

I know, lol, that'd be pretty classic shit.. But yeah, I just think it has to the be the Jets.

This management had to know that the city of Winnipeg not only wanted the team, but their name with it. It just seems like their would be SO much backlash, and they would have known that going into this.

And Thompson could pull the strings. He's the wealthiest owner in sports, I am sure whatever the price may currently be for the name, he could make that happen.

The NHL already fucked us over on the re-location fee anyways..

I really doubt it will be the Jets Mooche.
Chipman was saying he doesn't want it because they don't own the history of the old Jets, Phoenix does.
So he said it wouldn't make sense.

My bet is still on the Falcons, like my dad had heard from the source on 92.

Falcons has been talked about everywhere.. It's not just 92 now.

Chipman is the man doing all the talking, but behind the scenes it's Thompson who has the money and ultimately makes the OK. I'm pretty sure Thompson had been quoted of saying he liked the Jets name.

It's going to be the Jets. It has to be.

I know but the 92 source like I said even had the colors picked out.
Right now I feel there's like a 15% chance it's the Jets.

But it is a different franchise.

I mean, the blue and red is just so vibrant and classic. I could see if the name Jets is kept the same, a completely new style logo though. Obviously. I would be so happy with that.
