I really don't see why Ladd won't re-sign. He was in Winnipeg like last week and was discussing matters with the front management. I think that Cheveldayoff will pull the necessary strings to keep him in Winnipeg, and the ties that they must have in Chicago will definitely help that out.

Apparently it's been leaked that the team will be the Manitoba Falcons, and the colors will be Brown and Gold.

Maybe it's because they were in the AHL but having 'Manitoba' in the name just doesn't look right for me. Plus, I think they should keep similar colors that the Thrash had. Maybe that's just me though.
