My bold predictions is the Tigers win the Central, and Cabrera gets MVP.
And Verlander finally wins 20 games.

Still don't get the Tigers hype, not impressed whatsoever with their roster

i can see it

ok offense. twins took a step back, Chisox arent insanely good on paper

the Tigers rotation is questionable to me though. I dont understand the Scherzer love. I mean I guess I understand, he was nice to finish last year, but he's still just a thrower and I think he'll flame out this year.
maybe i'm still being a hater because as a DBack he sucked unless he faced the Dodgers >.<
i honestly thought he would be turned into a reliever. we'll see how he does again

Porcello never impressed me
and i dont even know who else they got

they'll probably contend all year in that division, but i like the Sox

Every year it seems to be Twins, ChiSox, and Tigers in the AL Central. No matter the teams they have. We straight up sucked on the road last year, but did great at home. I'm expecting great things, and hopefully winning the AL Central, seeing Cabby win MVP, and Verlander getting the 20 wins, but we'll see. I loved how Scherzer finished the year, but he still was sent down earlier on in the year, so the consistency is in question for me. Along with Porcello. Verlander is the only for sure thing, in the rotation. I'm just surprised that there has been hype for us. Usually it's for the Twins and ChiSox, and having the Tigers finish in 3rd, sometimes lower. Oh well. It's all just guessing anyways.

I'm excited for Opening Day though, and that we are done playing Yankees and BoSox after the end of May. Nice to get them out of the way early. I have this feeling Grandy will do well against us. He did last year.

i dont understand how people think the padres will finish ahead of the dodgers
i could kind of understand the rockies, but they really lack pitching and their offense other than Tulo/Cargo is kind of a mess

Tigers will live or die with our rotation.
I think we will be just fine though.

Verlander will be Verlander.
Scherzer hopefully won't be sporadic as fuck lol.
Porcello will get out of his sophomore slump.
Coke and Penny will be adaquate 4th and 5th starters. Both had a hell of a ST, which is a nice sign.

Coke and Penny?

I now like the Sox even more than I already did

I just think I trust Buehrle/Danks/Floyd/EJax/Peavy more. but some question marks there too

it'll be another season long race in the central

very bold
he reminds me of Adam LaRoche

and that hitch in his swing is going to give him problems soon

The Tigers have an awful infield, a subpar outfield defensively and who knows how Mags is going to perform. Nobody worth noting behind the plate, a shaky bullpen, and question marks after their ace. Not a team that is going to make the playoffs.

Our infield isn't awful... What do you want 4, plus .300 hitters?
Peralta, Inge, and Rhymes will certainly suffice as bottom of the lineup hitters.
A subpar outfield defensively, I'll give you that. But it's not going to be any worse than last year.
Magglio was having a great year before the injury, and they say he is in better shape going into the season than he was last year. And last year they said he was in great shape, and it showed.
Avila does suck offensively, but he is a good defensive catcher. If he struggles hard as fuck, they will not be afraid to put Victor there, especially when Guillen returns and can just DH for us.
Shaky bullpen? How. Valverde and Benoit make probably the best setup and closer combination in the league. Perry is improving. Thomas was solid for us last season. Schlereth has had a great spring training. And once Zumaya comes back (and hopefully stays healthy) it will get even better. Got a couple of young dudes rounding out the bullpen, but if they don't pitch well, we have option in the farm system.
And like I said, we will live or die by the starters.
