Teams that haven't won a WS in the modern era of baseball should cash in the Farm for a guy like Miller. You cannot expect to win the trophy without a lock down closer.
he wouldn't be the Indians closer, and it still doesn't make sense for this team to give up a top prospect. Maybe they will make an exception, but this club just doesn't spend on relief pitchers. Giving up multiple prospects is not something easily justifiable for a team who can't sign free agents

Rightfully so. Relievers are so volatile. Bargain hunting for under the radar relievers is a much better option than paying a king's ransom for a miller type of reliever.

If you want a dynamic reliever, just experiment with a failed starter who has decent stuff

What are these "failed starters" you speak of

Anyway, the only top prospect of the Indians I'd deal for Miller is Mike Clevinger. Baseball America had him as the #71 prospect with their updated mid-season rankings. Close to major league ready, thus he is blocked by our rotation that is under contract for several years.

Some say that no one should break the bank to bring in a catcher, but someone like Jonathan LuCroy is definitely worth bringing into any contending team.  The Brewers should see what they can get for him this season.  He is that good.

Jays are looking at Jeremy Hellickson. Wouldn't hate it. He won't cost a lot trade wise and he has pitched in the AL East

In this market, hes going to cost more than you think.
