Wtf lol. No thanks. This is the only thing I don't like about the Illitch's buying the team. Why leave the Palace? Its one of the best arenas in the NBA and for its age its in excellent condition.

I don't really like this whole concept, I mean it is early and kind of hard to tell, but it isn't something I can say if I was in Detroit right now I'd be a fan of.

the pistons and wings will likely share an arena downtown if he does indeed buy the pistons. that does NOT bother me. its a lot funner to be downtown before a game then driving 40 minutes.

Yeah keep all the detroit teams in detroit not have the pistons way away from the downtown detroit. They would have way more people come to their games imo. But I hate the design though. I like this dudes design right here: http://stadiumdrawings.blogspot.com/2010/01/new-olympia-stadium-in-3-d.html

I agree with that, I always like looking at Comerica Park when I'm at a Lions game and vice versa.

I love the Palace, and I actually love driving the 30 minutes to get there. It's in a great location/area. No need to leave it and go to <Censored>ty as Downtown.

Just save the money and put the Wings in Ford Field and let the Pistons stay in Auburn Hills, because this is what the plans look like to me.

you guys also arent old enough to go to a bar before a game and get some drinks, keep that in mind. beers are $10 and higher at the games, go to a bar before and spend $15 and youre buzzed. not to mention downtown DOES have nice spots, you guys also would not know about that since you dont go to the city too much.
