Sabres staying the course and I love it. Embrace the tank, boys. Hello McDavid/Eichel.

Sucking and drafting top prospects either works extremely well (Penguins) or horribly (Oilers). There is no inbetween.

The Oilers are like the NHL version of the Oakland Raiders.

I'd really hope an NHL team wouldn't make it a point to target an opposing player with an injury history, especially a concussion history, but it sure does seem to be what the Kings have been doing to Darren Helm tonight. Jordan Nolan but the latest blow on Helm, and then Jonathan Ericsson tried to rip Nolan's head off.

Bonino is a stud offensively.

Also Ryan Miller...wow he's looked damn good so far.

Sedins have looked like the sedins we saw in 2010-2012. Vrbata has been a huge help for them as well.

Anyone else surprised by how well the Canucks have been playing so far? I certainly am, but the added depth in the off-season has been such a huge help. It's great that we finally have some up and coming guys in the farm as well.

THE TANK IS CRASHING! THE TANK IS CRASHING!

6 of the last 7 for the Sabres ... is 8th seed out of the question for them? Such a young, high-potential team ... maybe they're finally clicking together.

I remember in 2009 when Toronto got the 7th pick during Tavares' draft year. I was so pissed.

I'd bet my money the Sabres play just good enough to barely miss the playoffs and to screw themselves out of 'McEichel'.

I realize its possible to fuck up a rebuild, but not as bad as the Oilers did.

Wow. Just wow.

Unreal. every year, analysts and fans expect them to finally make the playoffs, but they always disappoint.

Joke of an organization

I really enjoy this Red Wings team. Perfect mix of experienced vets (Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Kronwall), talented young guys (Nyquist, Tatar, DeKeyser), and likeable grinders (Glendening, Miller, Abdelkader).

Lucky you have a good prospective coach in the AHL for when the Leafs nab Babcock.
