By all accounts it was phenomenal and he's left every team in attendance salivating over the possibilities.

Clowney showed excellent footwork to include lateral movement and a quickness necessary to play linebacker and have to drop back into coverage. Above all, Jadeveon is already bulking up and he's not slowing down.  He's answering all the right questions and I don't thin teams can question his motivation and work ethic.

The question now is how can the Texans NOT draft him first overall?

Clowney is clearly the best all-around athlete in this draft class and holy shit, imagine a D-Line with Jadeveon on one end and JJ Watt on the other.

Houston makes out amazing if they invest in 3-pronged approach to getting to the quarterback a la Clowney, Cushing, and Watt.  They can look to a veteran like Rex Grossman, Case Keenum, and then opt for McCarron, Mettenberger, or Taj Boyd.

The problem is Case Keenum isn't a veteran and Rex Grossman sucks. They already signed Fitzpatrick (I think), and even he isn't good. I understand Clowney is the best prospect in the draft but I'd be surprised if they didn't take a QB.

If they play smart they can still get a solid QB in the 2nd round.

I mean hell, Russ was a 3rd round pick. Not that it happens often but they could get a steal later on, and have that fearsome attack on D.
