Troy Polamalu vs. Ed Reed

we already did these two, but its reed for me. love his ballhawking.

It's been a pretty damn long time. Last one turned into a flame-fest I believe anyways, so hopefully this can stir up some good debate and stay on topic.

That being said, I don't know why this debate continues so often. You just can't compare the two because they are completely different players, playing two different positions.

Maybe you can argue who makes the bigger impact at their position, but both make an impact in different areas. Polamalu excels in run support, he's the superior tackler and is overall a little more versatile while Reed has superior field vision, and is the best ball hawk in the league. Both play their assignments to perfection. You really can't go wrong with either choice.
