Looking at the standings

Grizzlies, kings, Mavs won't all make the playoffs when it's all said and done. Maybe one of them can sneak in

Clippers probably won't either

So that's 4 teams I'm eliminating

Houston for sure is in. That was never a doubt. That makes 5 locks. GSW,OKC,Lakes,Rockets,Nuggets

Jazz sucking doesn't surprise me

Pels need to be better

Minnesota could be better

Also Austin Rivers not wanting to play for Phoenix seems stupid. Yes Phoenix is awful but they could use someone like him. He could play a ton and inflate his stats big time in a contract year. Stupid decision if you ask me.

He says he wants to go to a playoff team that can use his help, i'm not sure there are many teams that could use him that badly.

its a dumb move imo. hes not the type of player/vet that'll have those teams calling him

Exactly. Very wishful thinking on his part. Maybe the Pelicans or some fringe team will give him a shot but i'm skeptical.

Wolves could be better meaning not near last in the conference

I have them eighth anyways. They could easily miss the playoffs

I wanna see some trades. Wizards, Cavs should both blow it up. Start over. I'd like the Jazz to make a move but not sure they will.

Lakers I think should still look into making a trade.

When they find out Ariza isn't gonna get them the wins they want, they may blow it up. Unless the team starts putting it together.

Ariza admitted to being checked out mentally early in the season wth the Suns

Going back to Wizards will help him

I heard Ariza would leave practices the second they were over. Would walk out of the huddles before they were over. Not a good look. He was supposed to be the vet presence that helped their youth, not the guy to set the example of being checked out.

Hopefully he gets it back with Washington. I like Ariza.

Also the Wizards have one of the higher payrolls in the league if I remember right. So with that payroll they should be competing but they aren't. Playoff team sure, but I don't see them as contenders. (same with the Blazers...etc)

Wow just looked. Heat have the HIGHEST payroll out of any teams. By almost 12m. Thats crazy.

Ariza is a champion, so once he saw Ayton, he was done

And they def arent a contender. Playoff team hopefully but we all know the rule of real contenders
