Moneyball isn't working in Cleveland

Think back to the Browns dumping Ray Farmer and Mike Pettine in 2015. The Haslem's decided to make a dramatic overhaul of the front office and take a different approach. They brought in baseball analytics expert Paul DePodesta and the Moneyball approach to personnel. 
 
The problem: Hugh Jackson hasn't bought in.
 
Jackson has no analytics background, he can't win with the roster he has, and it's no surprise he's starting to clash with the front office.
 
The Browns may want to dump the current personnel approach and go back to using gut instead of numbers in the decision making process.

I know this has been mentioned by a bunch of people, but their approach to finding a QB is so bad. Passing on Wentz and Watson is one thing, but they drafted QB's in the 2nd and 3rd in both of those drafts who have both looked terrible. Hue also looks a Norv Turner type of guy who's better suited to be a coordinator.

I almost feel bad for Hue because he's a much better coach than his record indicates. That said, its a situation where you almost can't keep him with such a bad record. The front office botching personnel moves is one thing, but Hue playing QB roulette one week to the next is another. 
 
If Kizer is you guy then you stick with him thru good times and bad. Benching him one week, pulling him out the next, and then word of a deal for another guy.... the Browns are just going to end up hitting that reset button again.

The defense is improving greatly and has some excellent talent. The offense needs a reboot, though.

Jackson is the guy who went to Wentz's incredible pro day and still talked himself out of drafting him for absurd reasons. Time to stop calling Hue a QB guru.

That’s on the GM tho. Hue has Input but he isn’t the personnel decision maker
