It should be interesting to see what Blake does for his future. He really has five options (assuming that teams still want to max him)

1. Exercise his Early Termination Option to opt-out, and re-sign with the Clippers on a $177.48M // 5 year contract ($35.5M average)
2. Exercise his ETO and sign with a different team on a $131.58M // 4 year contract ($32.9M average)
3. Waive ETO for a $21.37M salary in 2017-18, and then sign elsewhere in FA '18 to earn $154.24M // 5 year combined ($30.8M average)
4. Waive ETO for a $21.37M salary in 2017-18 and re-sign with the Clippers on a standard max, earning $200.59M // 6 years ($33.4M)
5. Waive ETO, make All-NBA 3rd team to qualify for a DPVE contract with the Clippers, earning $230.46M // 6 years ($38.4M)

If he wants to potentially leave the Clippers, it'll be this season most likely. He'd make $9M less this upcoming season by waiving the ETO, so unless he wants to stay long term, he should enter FA (if there is indecision he should waive the ETO).

If he wants to stay long term, it's all betting on himself. He stands to make the most money by far by exercising the option and qualifying for the DPVE to hit that 35% scale. But at the same time he loses around $2M per year if he does not get the DPVE (needs to be All-NBA 1st-3rd team next season) because he took a 2017 salary of $21.37M instead of $30.6M

Magic going to represent the Lakers at the Lottery.

Not gonna lie, shit would be hilarious if they drop and lose the pick.
