You might still see something like that. I imagine that's gonna be a destination for a lot of opposing fans: fly out for the weekend, hit the strip, and watch your team play the Raiders on Sunday.

Travesty.

Great for the visiting teams and gives them a reason to travel.

Great for the owners.

Fuck everyone else, especially the fans in Oakland.

I'm done with public funding of a stadium. Especially when the NHL just completed a completely private stadium fund for the Knights. Raiders are going to go from having a great fanbase to having away teams fill at least half the stadium game after game. I hope they get a championship run before they move to LV

And yet they still insist they won't, which is full of shit.

This is a preemptive move because all they care about is how to make another $ more than last year, and they see where the landscape is going. Eventually gambling is going to be legalized. They're just staying 1 step ahead.

I'm sure of it. That's kind of the point
Im not.  That;s always been the hangup of putting a major sports franchise in Vegas.

And yet the owners approved it almost unanimously.

It's pretty obvious why they're doing this. Things change. If they see they can make money on it some day then they'll pull the trigger without hesitation.
