One thing I've noticed over the last few months is less and less members posting new topics (news, signings, trades, etc) and leaving it solely to the Moderators.

I just want to take a moment to encourage all members to post new topics when they see fit. Just bare in mind any major news should go in the divisional forum, and minor news/rumors can stay in the big topics like Gameday, Offseason Discussion, etc.

I'm not asking to bust your asses and post new topics constantly, but if you hear a big news story in any of the major sports and don't see a topic for it don't hesitate to post a new topic.

Just ensure that you source the material (w/ URL) and put it in a quote box --- or you can use a Twitter Post URL as your source and IPB will embed it automatically.

for the record, most know im on mobile and i gave up on manually typing the quote code and just post the story.

but im all for this. id really like to see other people step up and post some news, minor or major. it doesnt even need to be sports related, we have sections for gaming, entertainment, and randomness. anything will do, really. share what you find interesting because chances are others do too.

It would be a good thing. I think that some may have felt if they posted something in the certain forums that they would be taking away from the Moderators, of those forums. No discussion is bad discussion.
