Now that its been 3 years, Its a safe time to start evaluating the 2008 class and ranking the players in here. After a winner is decided for this debate, we'll move on to RBs and etc.

I'd say Flacco IMO.

It's really close between Ryan and Flacco but I'd have to go with Flacco as well.

My vote goes for my fellow Italian as well.

Matt Ryan 2nd by a long shot too. QB's in this draft suck dick out of them two.

I'm one of the guys that don't buy into the Flacco hype, not because he's a division rival, either. He really struggles against the Bengals defense which I hope continues. He struggles against good defenses such as Pittsburgh that bring a lot of pressure. He's got a better arm but worse decision making IMO.

Flacco only has 1 more INT than Ryan this year?

I think they are very equal, the numbers show that. I just think, if the game was on the line, under pressure, I would want Matt Ryan as my QB. Joe Flacco takes too many sacks, a lot of them can be avoided, he holds onto the ball too long. But honestly, Matt Ryan misses throws he should make, seems like he doesn't have enough arm at times. They both have their pros & cons. I just think under pressure Ryan is the better QB. Whether that be the game on the line or a defense blitzing, he handles it better imo. They are neck and neck, really.

Lol but for real, it's close between Flacco and Ryan, I went with Ryan though.

I wonder if being a Saints fan has anything to do with this...... Hmmmmm
Nah, I think they are fairly even but the thing that puts Flacco over the top is his playmaking ability. If Ryan has to throw the ball more than 30 yards it'll miss it's target 9/10 times. He has no range over 20 or 30 yards. Plus he has a habit of throwing crucial interceptions at bad times.

A lot will think Ryan, but overall I think Joe Flacco has been the best QB in terms of talent and success...
