I personally think that he will be a better NFL safety than Berry.
I'm not high on Berry to be honest -- I think he's highly overrated.

McCoy is better than Suh too though. And yeah, Thomas I agree will be better, but I don't think he's the type they want.

I watched tape on them both, and aside from the Big 12 Championship, McCoy is more disruptive. Plus Suh has knee issues.

McCoy is actually better than Suh, and a better fit in Detroit's system. There are more faults if you dig deep about Suh, and I think McCoy will go 2nd and Suh 3rd.

Suh is more of a run-stopper and his abilities turn over to the NFL better than McCoys'.
Do you all remember Glenn Dorsey? He played nearly identical to McCoy; quick first step, he's a little faster, attempts to play with a lot of intensity, and weighs the exact damn same.
Suh is much stronger than McCoy -- in the upper and lower body -- and ran .02 seconds slower than McCoy.
McCoy may be more polished, but Suh is a much better athlete and will be a much better pro.

How about this - McCoy had a great season, whereas Suh had a good season and one great nationally televised game.
I've read plenty of experts say McCoy is the better pick, fits the scheme better, and is generally liked more by Detroit than Suh. Don't make it seem like I'm saying Suh is a bad pick - he's obviously top three. I don't exactly know where you get off saying that Suh will be so much better than McCoy. Was it your source? Because as we get closer and closer to the draft, most people are switching from Suh to McCoy.

Also, the Lions aren't really in need of a DL anymore.
Korey Williams is taking a lot of money to play the role of McCoy and Suh on that team -- I think they go OL with the second overall pick.
