Madden 09 Sim League

Right now i've been planning on starting an NFL Madden 09 Sim League on another site. However I just asked Jarrod if I could host it here and he said yes if there will be enough people participating. So right now if you are interested please post below that you are. Do not request a team because if this does go down, you'll be able to pick a team during sign-ups. The league would start after the other league's 1st season finishes.

There will be retirements, rookie drafts (with ea generic prospects), possible injuries (there will be a poll on whether we should have them), there will not be updated rosters (Favre may and may not be in the game), if you have anymore questions go ahead and ask.

need to post whether it's Team assignments or fantasy draft.. Will edits be available? Will GMs be able to view the file? What platform will this be simmed on, as the PC version will not be made anymore?

It will be default rosters.

It will be simmed on the 360, and it's possible.

I would join, but I don't think I can handle being in two nfl sim leagues at the same time and being in a NBA one too.

What is it with some of you guys so destined to start up a Madden Sim League? Running a Sim League off your television requires an awful lot of typing. Don't think your just going to get away with posting rosters, scores, and standings either. A lot of work involved when it comes to transferring player ratings and statistics from your TV to the forum.

this aint a good idea.. wont go far, to much work to do, and no updated rosters and using madden? ha

yeah I was planning on using ign's, which is just the same but I doubt i'll end up doing this

I wouldn't have any problems doing it. As long as whoever runs it in this case jarkko73 stays committed to it.

I would definately do it. As long as it stays afloat and runs as well as the other leagues are running.
