#4 Atlanta Hawks vs. #5 Miami Heat

Western Conference

#1 Los Angeles Lakers vs. #8 Utah Jazz

#2 Denver Nuggets vs. #7 New Orleans Hornets

#3 San Antonio Spurs vs. #6 Dallas Mavericks

#4 Portland Trail Blazers vs. #5 Houston Rockets

btw the denver / portland game is in process, so the #4 and #5 in the west can switch around, if portland loses, i will switch, i just wanted to go ahead and get this thread up

I think the Hornets can beat the Nuggets, and I like the matchups with the Mavs and Spurs.

Anyway, my predictions:

East:
Cavs over Pistons (probably 5 or 6 games)
Celtics over Bulls (in 5)
Magic over 76ers (in 6)
Hawks over Heat (in 7)

I don't see any upsets here at all.

West:
Lakers over Jazz (in 5)
Nuggets over Hornets (in 7)
Mavericks over Spurs (in 7)
Rockets over Trail Blazers (in 7)

The Rockets - Blazers series could really go either way..

Rockets over Blazers in 6 w/ or w/out HCA

Cavs sweep Detroit
Celtics over Bulls in 6, but it def. can go 7

Pretty sure that David Stern wants to see a LeBron vs Kobe match up in the finals, so the refs should be on the sides of the Cavs and Lakers all the way.
