Someone help me on this, why not just stay in San Diego until 2019 and then decide if they want to make the move to LA? Seems like playing in SD 2 more years would be better than playing in a 30,000 seat stadium.
 
I know they had the deadline to opt into the LA stadium, and staying in SD at that point might be futile but still makes some sense to me

Because the raiders have 2nd choice of moving and if the chargers stayed, the raiders would come

They left because they wanted tax payers to build their stadium

They could have left last year but still stayed an extra year

After hearing about the circumstances surrounding this, I don't feel bad for San Diego at all.

They played at Candlestick in San Francisco from 1973-2013. Then they moved to Santa Clara and got a new stadium
