Who was the most surprising team? Im gonna have to go with the Rockies, I just didnt think they had the pitching to compete for a playoff spot. But they really put it together with Marquis, De la Rosa, and Jimenez.

I would've said the Rockies, but they have such a good offense I'm not that surprised they finished where they did. I said the Giants because there offense coming into the beginning of the season was expected to do terrible, but they were surprisingly really good. Players such as Sandoval stepped up big.

the AL central sucks though
it was wide open begging the season. a ton of people picked the Tigers to win it all

Easy choice, the Rockies.
They traded their best player and finished the season tied with Philly for the 2nd best record in the NL.
nobody saw that coming. not even Rox fans,
No one was at their games to begin the season,

Does it really matter how bad the division is? No one predicted the Tigers to finish better than 3rd and they have a shot at the playoffs.

no it doesnt matter
my point was the division was wide open. tigers/twins/sox/indians were all predicted to win.

Tigers are not more surprising than the Rockies, cmon
everyone thought the rockies would be awful. they were, and just got HOT.

how are they not the logical choice here?
