Just went by whats most likely to happen, being that Tigers and Dodgers magic numbers were at just 1, so I doubt we see them not clinch the divisions with the next few days. So who do you predict will win the world series?

I picked the Yankees at the beginning of the year and Im sticking to it. 102 wins, comebacks all day, best offensive lineup in the league, great bullpen, and SPing is pretty good. Mark T makes that infield defense very solid and makes everyone else better.

If Joba goes to the bullpen then that pen will be stacked with Hughes-Joba-Rivera.

The only team capable of beating the Yankees in the playoffs is the Yankees themselves, no one else is as loaded all around as we are or even remotely matches up with us. This team is hungry, has a new identity, and a chip on their shoulder.

Went with the Cardinals. Their pitching staff is too strong for everyone in my books.

Who's going to beat us then? The Phillies and all of their lefties will get rocked against us, the Cards had one of the worst SOS's in the league, the Dodgers and Rockies will both lose in the NLCS.

The Tigers have abysmal hitting that can't back up their good pitching, the Sux are on a terrible skid right now, and the Angels pitching has died down but playing for Adenhart could lift them to play us in the ALCS.

Yankees will cruise through the AL and beat the Phillies in the WS in 5 games.

dodgers and rockies arent losing in the NLCS
one of us has to win

idk. you know anything can happen in the playoffs. chill out
the cubs were supposed to to kill the dodgers last year.
dempster and his crazy wrigley stats served up a grand slam to James Loney and his 13 HR power.

anything can happen
ok but thats something else.

i honestly think the NL is wide open right now.
Phils pen blows. Cole isnt what he was last year. Lee has been hot/cold this month

Cards 2 aces can be beat. their hitting outside of pujols and holliday isnt THAT great

Rox are hot again. solid pitching, pretty good line-up.
Dodgers dont have an offense right now. Great bullpen, best in majors, and pretty good rotation.

wide open

I meant NLDS. Dodgers have been a .500 club since the ASB and the Rockies still couldn't catch them? Epic Fail. But the NL is wide open, i just don't see the Rox or Dodgers getting out of round one. Is Broxton still better than Rivera? LMFAO

lol did i really say that?

he's only 24 and is still having a monster season.
Most K's by a reliever. 15 more than any other closer.

he will be consistently one of the best for years to come, no doubt

St. Louis Cardinals.

Here's my reason:
Philadelphia won't get it and neither will the Yankees because history shows it that rarely, the 1st team to clinch wins the WS, because it's all about getting hot.

The Cardinals certainly have the talent, and in my mind a better "all around" rotation, actually they might have THE best 1-2 tandum with Wainwright and Carpenter. Absolutely incredible, and don't forget about Joel Piniero... ya, I thought you'd forget about him. This Rotation is so fierce, that it looks like NL Cy Young may come down to these 2: Carpenter and Wainwright.

Although I'm probably digging myself a deep hole by saying Carpenter and Wainwright are ahead of Haren and Lincecum.
