OSU didn't have a player drafted in the first round this year, mainly due to everyone coming back. Here's how 2016 stacks up:

List of guys who most likely will be first rounders:
Joey Bosa, DE
Cardale Jones, QB
Ezekiel Elliot, RB
Taylor Decker, OT*
Darron Lee, OLB

Underclassmen with serious potential to jump into the first round:
Vonn Bell, SS
Michael Thomas, WR

Other guys who probably will get drafted outside of the first round:
Pat Elflein, OG
Tyvis Powell, FS
Joshua Perry, OLB*
Corey Smith, WR*
Nick Vannett, TE*
Braxton Miller, QB/position switch attempt*
Eli Apple, CB
Adolphus Washington, DT/DE*
Jalin Marshall, WR/RB/Hybrid

*denotes senior

There are other underclassmen possibilities like Dontre Wilson and Jacoby Boren who aren't likely to come out, but could be drafted, and Chase Farris has the potential to be drafted as a senior first year starter at RT this year. There's a scenario where JT Barrett would be drafted if he won the starting QB job, had a similar season to last year and then declared.

Darron Lee is my favorite prospect on the team, I think he has an astronomical rise into or near the top 10.

Figured we could use one of these so I moved Dan's post over here.

Well, I already outlined OSU's draft potential for next year in the other thread, but it's also hilarious that the three expected first round QBs for next year are all from the Big 10. The last time ANY Big 10 QB went in the first round was Kerry Collins in 1995, and before that it was Jeff George in 1990.

Kerry Collins was a pretty good pro, helped us make in to the super bowl a long time ago lol.

As for Cardale, he better watch out cuz JT Barrett is coming for that job. Im not so sure its Jones' to lose.

Maybe it's just because we haven't had a good enough look at a lot of the 2016 prospects just yet, but next years class looks weak right now.

I'll take that as an indirect shot at the only good team I follow.

Nah, there just aren't many prospects that I'm excited about at the moment. Tyler Boyd, Bosa and Zeke are the only three off the top of my head that I really like.  Most of the other top tier prospects have question marks.

Tunsil has crazy potential, but he's coming off a broken leg.  I'm sure he'll be fine, but any major injury like that is troubling.

Cardale Jones played out of his mind on the biggest stages possible at the college level, but he really has no experience to speak of otherwise.

Conner Cook plays quarterback for Michigan State.

Hackenberg took a giant step backwards last season.

Nkemdiche  has not produced at all yet.

Shawn Oakman is the most absurd physical specimen I have ever seen in my life, but he really has no idea how to play football at this point.

Everyone else is just kinda meh.

But nah, I agree to an extent. I honestly don't see why Connor Cook is a first round prospect, and Hackenberg has been fairly underwhelming. I think the Cardale Jones hype is a bit much too, but I love him so I hype him too. His footwork needs a lot of refining.

Oakman should have entered. No way he'd be picked later than Arik Armstead was

If he can learn how to rush from the 7T, the dude will go Top 10

Pretty sure he's a lock for the first round

edit: maybe not a lock, but would definitely go in the 2nd round if not 1st.

I feel like Jayron Kearse could be a monster if he's properly motivated.

Any of y'all watch Goff yet? I'd like to hear some opinions on him.
