Machida will win this. I think he's got Shogun all figured out. Obviously Shogun should have won the first one though.

I think this 2nd one will be a lot closer then the 1st one. Hopefully Machida will come at Shogun, instead of picking his spots for strikes.

^ Copy & paste error, thanks for the heads up.

Please, enough of the "Shogun won the first fight" bullsh_t already. I don't happen to agree with many of the judging decisions...however, leave a fight up to the judges and bad calls are bound to happen. I acknowledge how close the first fight was, I acknowledge Machida's toughest match-up yet...but I don't think Shogun won that fight. Watch Machida vs. Shogun 1 with your television on mute & then tell me what YOU SEE....not what Joe Rogan is leading you to believe.

Thank you! Glad I am not the only one that realizes it. Nothing was more disappointing to me than having to listen to Rogan, Goldberg, and Buffer take the mics for "Faber vs. Aldo". One thing I have always loved about the WEC is the much more down-to-earth commentary.

Back to the fight...I'm gonna stick by my guy Machida. Machida was holding back in that first showdown, I felt like something wasn't right with him. I really think Machida is gonna come out, as strategic as always, Shogun will try to be just as aggressive as he was in the first fight...no-go. Machida wins this bout by decision...again.

Also announced by Dana White today: Winner of Koscheck vs. Daley will get the next crack at GSP's 170 lbs crown.

Shogun won the first fight. But I do totally agree with you NEVER leave it to the judges, especially in a title fight. Normally you have to win pretty decisively to beat a champ by decision.

I can't wait to see Koscheck fight again.

Unless your name is Forrest Griffin. I was thinking today about how Griffin did just about as much to Rampage as Shogun did to Machida. The difference: Griffin was awarded the title while Shogun was awarded a loss via unanimous decision.

I'm still pissed off about that.

I will forever applaud Griffin's willingness to just get into any downright brawl...but he's not this great fighter that he's been made out to be since his TUF inception.

exactly, hes a fan fave because hes a pure scrapper. but hes not that smart and he doesnt always pick his shots. he gives up a lot and everyone has the style figured out. but i love how he can take hits(minus the spider fight, which pissed me off).

Lyoto Machida © vs. Mauricio Rua
Machida admitted that he was shocked by Shogun's gameplan and patience in their first fight. Machida got the <Censored> leg kicked out of him and according to reports, he could barely walk when the fight was over. Machida is no chump, he's a very intelligent, well planned, and strategic fighter. I have no doubts that Machida is well prepared to handle the same gameplan from Shogun. Should Shogun revert back to his aggressive ways...well then we see Machida at his best. Shogun basically mimicked Machida's gameplan in the first fight but it wasn't enough to get a decision. I can see more of the same tonight...but Machida comes in a tad more active than he was the first time.

Josh Koscheck vs. Paul Daley
I find Koscheck to be one of the more underrated fighters of the era but I am high on Daley right now & I like his aggressive style in this bout. While Koscheck is the much better wrestler and grappler, Daley has some serious Muay Thai and heavy hands.

Sam Stout vs. Jeremy Stephens
Extremely disinterested in this fight and both fighters. I got with Stout based on experience alone. I could honestly care less.

Kimbo Slice vs. Matt Mitrione
I see both Slice and Mitrione as the same 2 inexperience/gimmicky fighters they were during TUF 11....but since TUF 11, Kimbo is the more improved fighter. While Mitrione lacks experience and opponents, Kimbo has been in a cage more than once and he's also fighting out of the much better camp. Kimbo is 5-years the elder but there's no doubt American Top Team has him ready to brawl tonight.

Patrick Côté vs. Alan Belcher
I see another lame fight between these two, goes back and forth as Cote tries to shake off the cage-rust. Belcher might eek this one out via split. Cote hasn't fought since 2008...though Belcher isn't necessarily anything to get excited about.
